Leadership, I’ve learned, isn’t defined by a single moment or decision. It’s shaped over time by the situations we navigate and the challenges we overcome. Through these experiences, I’ve come to understand that success doesn’t come from reductionism or optimization alone—it stems from truly accompanying people on their journey and finding the right approach to match the complexity of the problems we face.
Today’s challenges require more than technical solutions—they demand dedicated Teams, motivated individuals who see purpose in their work, and environments where information flows freely, people have the autonomy to act, and decision-making is empowered. These are the foundations of both agility and resilience, leading to extraordinary results—innovative products that serve people, efficiency for organizations, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Leading Teams across various organizations and watching my colleagues grow their talents, find fulfillment, and embrace the purpose of their work has shown me the true power of leadership. It’s not the numbers, strategies, or data that matter most, but the energy that connects people and enables them to thrive.
Creating Lasting Impact
Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working for companies like Postdata, GE, UTC, Carrier, Amazon, and Capgemini. Each of these organizations gave me a unique opportunity to tackle the complexity of adaptive product development, process management, and quality assurance. These weren’t ordinary projects—they were initiatives that held critical importance for people's lives. I’ve had the honor of working with international Teams to create solutions that truly make a difference—from safety systems to life-critical products.
One of the most defining experiences was delivering a security system for one of the world’s largest airports, in Doha, Qatar. This project showed me that true strength lies not only in technology but, above all, in people.
The ability to navigate challenges, make decisions amidst complexity, and achieve success together were invaluable lessons I learned from working with incredibly talented colleagues and friends.
Observing moments like the first landing of the Emir of Qatar at the airport or the arrival of the Polish national football team, led by Robert Lewandowski, on their way to the World Cup, are unforgettable milestones. They symbolize the extraordinary outcomes that can be achieved when teamwork, precision, and dedication come together seamlessly.
Leading with Purpose
My work at companies like UTC and Carrier taught me that quality, process management, and product development are inextricably linked. Together with my colleagues, we faced challenges that required adaptive thinking and flexibility in management. Every day, our focus was on developing solutions that not only met the highest standards but also served people and had a real impact on their lives. This was the essence of working on life-critical products—solutions upon which the health and safety of users depended.
Building the Future with Qi-Presence
Today, through Qi-Presence, I share these experiences, helping leaders and Teams build products that are agile, resilient, and adapted to ever-changing market realities.
Qi symbolizes the energy that cannot be ignored—the energy of change, adaptation, and continuous growth. I employ Lean Startup methods and Cynefin principles, helping companies find the right tools to solve problems of varying complexity.
Whether it’s optimizing manufacturing processes or managing quality, I always focus on what matters most—people and their ability to create something meaningful.
Navigating Complexity
But it wasn’t always easy. I encountered various situations that tested me, and at times, I needed to step back. Thanks to the challenges and failures I faced, there were moments when perseverance had to give way to resilience, and resilience, now, evolved into something more—antifragility.
I believe that a leader’s and a team’s true strength does not lie in fighting against problems, changes, or trends, but in discovering what wants to emerge and leveraging the situation. It’s about gently redirecting energy rather than resisting it, enabling us to navigate difficulties and thrive through them. With every challenge, we became stronger—and now I help other Teams find that same strength in their everyday work.

I help leaders create value propositions that are authentic and well-thought-out, and I guide them in adapting production processes to the specific challenges they face. I support them in building resilience to change and in fostering innovation, based on proven product development methodologies, quality tools (like TMAP for Quality Engineering /Lean Startup) as well as the principles I developed while working on security systems.
